General-purpose humanoid designed to work alongside people in factories and warehouses, with swappable batteries for continuous operation.
Maker of Apollo, backed by Mercedes-Benz and Google

Apptronik, spun out of UT Austin research, develops the Apollo general-purpose humanoid. In February 2026 it announced a $520M Series A extension, bringing Series A to over $935M, with B Capital, Google, Mercedes-Benz, PEAK6, AT&T Ventures, John Deere and the Qatar Investment Authority. It works with Mercedes-Benz, GXO and Jabil and partners with Google DeepMind on AI.
Beyond investing, Mercedes-Benz has tested Apollo for tasks such as parts delivery at its Berlin and Hungary (Kecskemét) sites.
GXO is one of Apptronik's partners and has evaluated Apollo in warehouse operations.
Jabil is piloting building Apollo units and deploying them in its own manufacturing operations, with potential to produce them at scale.
